Welcome to Ljubljana, the bustling capitol of Slovenia. Check into our historical-center hotel located in the pedestrian zone of the old town city center. Join us this evening for a Welcome Reception of local wine and delicacies.

DAY 2

Good morning Ljubljana! After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a guided walk of this castle-topped city. You’ll have time on your own to stroll along the river, lined with shops, cafés, and a bustling outdoor market. You will enjoy a private wine tasting with one of Slovenia’s world class wineries. Your group dinner will be at a historical location celebrating local cuisine & wine!

DAY 3

Farewell Ljubljana, today we’ll take a picturesque drive to breath-taking Lake Bled, where we will stay at our stunning, historical, lake-front hotel and enjoy dinner at a picturesque setting. Along the way we will visit a quaint village and some off the beaten path sites.

DAY 4

Awaken to magical Lake Bled, with medieval Castle perched high above on a limestone cliff. Now we know where fairy tales came from! Enjoy exploring on your own while taking in the Lake’s mesmerizing beauty. Each day we’ll have a special excursion, and a gourmet dinner.

DAY 5

Farewell Lake Bled, today we’ll make our way along the emerald Soča River, stopping along the way to take in the natural beauty, we’ll wind our way through the Goriška Brda wine region, and on to Italy’s Collio wine region. This evening’s stay is on the Italian side at the foot of a castle.

DAY 6

Award winning wine awaits you! Today you’ll explore the Goriška brda wine region and taste and dine at an exclusive winery. You’ll tour the cellar and learn from the winemaker how they integrate modern and ancient techniques! The winemaker has invited us to dine in their vineyard with the beautiful Julian Alps as our backdrop.

* If it rains we will enjoy our gourmet feast in one of the private cellars.

DAY 7

It’s time for history and romance at Predjama Castle; built into a cave on a rocky cliff. Next, you’ll tour, taste and enjoy a local cuisine style snack at a fifth generation award winning winery. You’ll taste wines specific to this Istrian wine region. After our active day you’ll relax and enjoy dinner seaside in a charming Venetian village.

DAY 8

Ah, Piran, home of violinist Giuseppe Tartini in the late 17th century when this charming village was part of the Venetian Territories. After breakfast, enjoy a guided walk with time to explore on your own. In the afternoon, you’ll board our private coach to visit the amazing Skocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the evening, we’ll dine seaside.

DAY 9

Farewell Piran, now let’s have some amazing sparkling wine! But wait, on our way there we’ll stop at the must see, Stari Grad – Grand Old Castle, in the heart of the Posavje wine region. Situated atop a hill, was first mentioned in 1125. Next, a private tour and tasting at a world class wine producer, you’ll stay this evening in their private villa.

DAY 10

Goodbye Slovenia and Hello Croatia! You’ll depart our private villa and head for Plitvice Lakes, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Plitvice Lakes has breath-taking beauty, and is a spectacular natural wonder. This lush valley holds 16 terraced lakes, laced together by waterfalls and miles of plank walkways. We will enjoy a group dinner at our traditional Croatian lodge.

DAY 11
After breakfast we’ll head seaside to Zadar and experience it’s Sea Organ. Yes, they have designed a promenade with specifically designed holes and pipes in the walkway that emit beautiful sounds as the waves wash up under the promenade. Your day will finish in Split, and you’ll dine amongst Diocletian’s Palace walls, a UNESCO world heritage site.

DAY 12
It’s a beautiful day in Split. Enjoy time this morning exploring the shops and cafés of this bustling seaside palace. In the afternoon, we’ll have a guided tour of Diocletian’s Palace, one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments. Dinner will be in a fabulous restaurant amid the old walls where Split life has been going on for thousands of years.

DAY 13
Early morning, we’ll set sail, weather permitting, for Dubrovnik, stopping along the way for photo opportunities, quaint fishing villages, and spectacular wine tasting. After checking into our seaside hotel, you’ll have time to relax or head to the Old Town of Dubrovnik to explore on your own. Or, just kick back and take in your new surroundings.

DAY 14
Today, you’ll explore Dubrovnik, a UNESCO world heritage site. There is no doubt why this is one of the Adriatic’s most prominent tourist areas. This stunningly intact walled city, was the only city-state in the Adriatic to rival Venice. After your guided tour, explore on your own, take a local kayak excursion, or walk the city walls. In the evening, we’ll meet for our farewell dinner.

DAY 15
Parting is such sweet sorrow, but today is farewell and you can head home with a carry-on bag full of memories! Thank you for joining us! We loved traveling with you!
